2007 season ... • Missed a part of the year with an injury suffered during the Savannah State, but bounced back nicely to finish-up batting .228 on the season • Played in 45 games while making the start in 44 of those contests behind the dish • A reliable signal caller that collected a team-best fielding percentage of .990 on the year; Collected a team second-leading 261 putouts • Caught 18 players trying to steal on him throughout the season; Picked off three batters at first base leaning • Pounded out 29 hits including six doubles for extra bases; Collected 16 RBI on the year • Crossed home plate 14 times to score for the Wildcats

2007 highlights ... • Went 2-for-3 at the plate and a double against Stetson (6/2) in the NCAA Regional [Tallahassee, Fla.]; Also had four putouts on defense • Had a 2-for-4 day with two RBI pounded out against Western Michigan (3/4) during the Kennell Classic in Jacksonville, Fla. • Scored twice in a 1-for-2 evening at Stetson (4/17) where the Wildcats upset the Hatters for the first time ever at Melching Field • Collected 12 putouts and one assist against Delaware State (5/5) in the first game of a home doubleheader • Also had 12 putouts and an assist against Georgia Southern (3/10) in the Myrtle Beach Hyundai/Isuzu Classic in Conway, S.C.

FRESHMAN (2006)

2006 season ... • Played in 24 games with five starts behind the dish as signal caller for the Wildcats • Collected four hits, including a double and a run scored as a freshman • Drew four walks at the plate • Posted 41 putouts with three assists and zero (0) errors for a perfect fielding percentage behind the plate

2006 highlights ... • Scored one run vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore (4/30) • Went 2-for-4 at the plate against Ohio State (3/12) in the Kennel Classic at Jacksonville, Fla. • Also had his only collegiate double in that contest against the Buckeyes • Collected a season-high eight putouts against Stetson (2/14) behind the plate for the Wildcats

HIGH SCHOOL

• Three-year letterwinner at Pine Ridge High School. • Named as a First Team All-Area and All-Conference (5-Star Conference) performer as a senior in 2005. • Saw action as a catcher, and assisted in helping the Panthers to a 20-7 record under head coach Rob Hammond in 2005. • Tabbed as an Honorable Mention player in the FHSAA All-State Team. • Threw out 16-of-20 runners during his senior campaign. • Drove in a school record 35 runs (RBI) while collecting a batting average of .333 while blasting eight doubles and one (1) homerun. • Selected to the Honor Roll with a 3.8 GPA.

Born on September 10, 1986 in Wellsville, New York as Drew Clark ... Drew is the son of Jack and Deborah Clark ... says that his father has been the biggest athletic influence in life because he has worked hard with Drew his entire life in order to turn him into the person and player he is today ... chose to attend Bethune-Cookman because it's a good school and has great athletics, and seemed to be a good place to earn a degree and play basketball.
