FRESHMAN (2007): Saw action in 21 games as a late-inning guy for the Wildcats out of the bullpen • Had one start, but used mainly in key situations as a right-hander out of the pen • Collected a record of 2-2 with two saves on the year; Also combined for one shutout • Held an ERA of 4.71 while giving up 25 runs (19 earned) on 46 hits with 36.1 innings of work on the mound • Collected 20 strikeouts against his opponents on the campaign as the only true freshman pitcher for the Wildcats outside of reserve outfielder/pitcher Orlando Bacon

2007 Highlights: Collected wins against Mercer (2/11) and Western Michigan (3/4) • Fanned a season-high five batters against the Broncos of Western Michigan (3/4); Went six full innings on the hill in that same contest against the Broncos • Posted two assists in the field against Michigan (2/23) and Maryland Eastern Shore (4/29) • Recorded his first save in an 8-3 upset of nationally-ranked Stetson (4/17) in the first-ever win at Melching Field for B-CU in DeLand, Fla. • Had another save against Florida Atlantic (5/8) with two innings on the mound and one strikeout
