Wildcats to Host Final Baseball Camps of 2007 Calendar Year

Daytona Beach, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman University baseball is already in full swing for fall practices, and they are ready to help the youth of the state of Florida with a wealth of talent and knowledge of the game of baseball with two additional baseball camps provided through B-CU head coach Mervyl Melendez.

The first camp is slated to begin on Nov. 19 and being a three-day session running through Nov. 21. The event is taking place at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, Fla. Times are from 9 .a.m. until 2 p.m. daily. The ages will range from 8-16 for this particular event.

The cost for the Mervyl Melendez Thanksgiving Baseball Camp is $100.

The next camp is set for a Dec. 15 date back at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Times will remain between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The cost for this camp is $115 for campers in high school only. This will serve as an advanced camp.

Stretch and throw period begins at 8:30 am on the field for both sessions, and the actual camp begins--once again, at 9 a.m.
