NOTING ANDERSON... John Anderson is a solid ball player that transferred in to Bethune-Cookman University prior to the beginning of the 2006-07 campaign from Spartanburg Methodist College ... Very aggressive around the basket on both offense and defense for the Cliff Reed coached Wildcats ... Possesses speed and aggressiveness that may make some people take quick notice of his athletic ability ... Times his jumps for blocked shots and rebounds very well from the floor in and around the painted area ... Dished out 11 assists while collecting a team second-best 19 blocked shots on the defensive side of things ... Poured in a team fifth-best 179 points on the season to average 6.0 points per game ... Poured in double-digits for scoring in five contests on the season ... Had a season-high 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field at Norfolk State (Feb. 5) in a nationally-televised game on ESPNU for the Wildcats ... Also had eight rebounds and an assist in that game against the Spartans ...
