NOTING CARRIER ... A very fast young man that loves to hang around he perimeter and use his expert shooting to lure defenders out so he can try and take the ball to the basket ... Has improved muscle size and agility in the Wildcat Athletic Performance Center during the off-season ... A true double-threat for the Wildcats with speed with and without the basketball ... Contains great ball-handling skills to split time as a two-guard, as well as bringing the ball up the court at times within the offensive set ... Looks to pass first, and then looks to shoot the ball whenever open ... A good defender that has gotten better each and every year at Bethune-Cookman ... Has improved on his shooting touch from the outside with tough individual drills set-up for himself, by himself ... Will give the `Cats even more depth at the two-guard position ... JUNIOR SEASON (2006-07) ... Saw action in all 30 games for the Wildcats as a reserve guard until moving into the starting two-guard position midway through the season ... Poured in 105 points on the campaign, with half of them coming from three-point territory ... Shot 31 percent from the field on the year ... Collected a 26 percent touch shooting from beyond three-point land ... Handed out 64 assists on the campaign ... Scored in double-digits once on the year in a game at Howard (Jan. 20) where he collected 12 points for the `Cats ... SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005-06) ... Jordan Carrier was asked to do a lot more as a point guard during the 2005-06 season coming off the bench as a key reserve for the Wildcats ... He registered two starting jobs on the year while seeing playing time in 24 of the Wildcats 30 games ... Finished the year with 19 made shots from the field, including six from three-point range ... Snagged down 17 rebounds for an average of 0.7 rebounds per game ... Seventh on the squad in assists (28) ... Collected 56 points for the `Cats on the campaign ... Had his best performance against South Carolina State (Feb. 13) at home with a season-high seven points on a perfect 2-for-2 shooting touch from the floor ... Also had a season-high tying four assists in that contest ... Put up six points against Georgia Tech (Dec. 31) with three rebounds and one assist ... FRESHMAN SEASON (2004-05) ... Picked up six starting jobs throughout 29 games played on the year for the Wildcats ... Poured in 66 points for an average of 2.3 points per game ... Connected on 24-for-74 shots from the field on the campaign, including nine three-pointers ... Shot 32 percent (.324) on the year from the floor ... Grabbed down 27 rebounds, including 19 off the offensive glass to keep the scoring opportunity alive for the `Cats ... Dished out a team third-best 54 assists ... Picked up 15 steals in a great defensive effort with his speed ... Scored a season-high 10 points twice, including a game at Georgia (Dec. 22) in a starting job at point guard ...
