March 23, 2007 Virginia Beach, Va. - The Bethune-Cookman University bowling team enters this weekend's Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference [MEAC] Tournament with a positive attitude, and will be looking up at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore in the process. UMES enters this weekend's affair with as the top seed after finishing atop the conference standings this season. The Lady Hawks won the tournament last year, and look for a repeat performance this season. B-CU enters this weekend as the #5 seed after finishing behind four (4) fellow schools in the regular season standings. The Wildcats will face-off against #4 seed Hampton University in the first round of the tournament after the seeding bowling was completed on Friday. The Wildcats will be looking for their second MEAC title in three years this weekend. UMES earned the top seed, as already mentioned, followed by North Carolina A&T (2), Morgan State (3) and Hampton (4) to round out the top five teams.
