Sophomore (2006): Remains one of the Lady `Cats most consistent players...Started in all 58 games she played...A very hard worker getting better each season...Finished the season with a .304 batting average, 32 runs, 51 hits, 27 RBI's, and a .933 fielding percentage. 2006 Awards: Commissioner's All-Academic Team 2006 Highlights: 1st on the team in RBI's and homeruns 2nd on the team in slugging percentage, runs scored, doubles, triples, total bases, being hit by a pitch, sac flies, assists, and fielding double plays 3rd on the team in stolen bases, games played, and games started 4th on the team in hits and at bats 5th on the team in batting average and total plate appearances 1st in the MEAC in assists 3rd in the MEAC in being hit by a pitch Freshman (2005): Started 45 games at the 3rd base position. Christina ended the season with a .250 batting avg., 14 runs, 31 hits, 2 doubles, 1 homerun, 17 RBIs and 1 stolen bases. Christina's best game was against Norfolk State on March 15, 2005, she contributed 2 runs, 2 hits, 1 RBI, and 1 homerun. Other high performance games of Christina's were against the University of Massachusetts and North Carolina A&T. Against UMASS she totaled 1 run, 1 hit and 2 RBIs and against NCAT she totaled 2 runs, 2 hits and 2 RBIs. She finished the season 3rd on the team in assists with 72. High School: 2001 Rookie of the Year...2002 Defensive Player of the Year...2002-2004 named to the 1st Team All-Sunkist League...2003 MVP of the All-C.I.F Team. Outside of softball Christina was active in the Honor Society, Black Student Union, Spanish Club, while maintaining a 3.8 gpa all four years. Personal: The daughter of Chuck and Diane Trimble...Born October 15, 1986...Christina is majoring in Elementary Education. She chose B-CC because it has great Elementary Education and Softball programs...Her Athletic goals while at B-CC are to become a better all around player and contribute to the team's goals...Her biggest influences are her parents, because they have supported her throughout her career and they continue to support her...Christina wants to become an elementary school teacher.
